This years Tech Rich List retains its popularity, and Peek’s Vision continues to attract attention

Just in case you missed it Google & Nestle announced this  week a cobranding of KitKat as the name of the next release of the android operating system 4.4. This follows the history of Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo (Frozen Yogurt), Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean.  The android operating system they reckon now powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets.

It’s a sort of pre-announcement and you have to “Prepare for a sweet new treat” with numerous promotions prizes etc etc coming your way in the USA, Canada, the UK and Brazil to name just 4 of the 19 markets where allegedly 50 million KItKats with the android logo will attract you £’s $’s Real’s etc! Nexus 7’s and Google Play credits are the prizes on offer. As mentioned elsewhere co-branding is somewhat fraught as it can lead to double trouble! We shall see.

Both Nestle & Google have apparently erected these tasteful little statues outside their respective HQ’s!

Well leave you with their amusing taster video – Oh, and by the way, come back here for details of Apple’s announcements on Tuesday/Wednesday.
