It seems to come earlier every year although allegedly here in the UK it is always the 4th Sunday in lent (ie March 10 this year) when we are joined in its celebration by Ireland and Nigeria! If you are over there it’s the second Sunday in May (ie the 12th) when a whole host of others join in including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Switzerland to name but a few.

Over here Apple are looking to surprise mum with an iPad whilst Amazon seem to be in to, sort of, tulips with of course the ever present (sic) Kindle. “The perfect gift for Mum”.
