Apple’s results are due to be released next Thursday January 23 and we will have our usual coverage, subject to a complete close down of all activities due to our weather!

Their shares (currently just under $500) some feel may have gone ex growth but others  including most recently Maynard Um of Wells Fargo Securities, as detailed at Apple Insider, are looking for upsides. He believes that  Apple’s current “black ice”, will “thaw through summer” with the possibility of their stock getting back to the $700 level.

We noticed another Apple follower iClarified (nice name) have written about  the Nokia Lumia 820 3D shell printing abilities and even given links to the Nokia templates!.

One of the actual printers the Makerbot Replicator 2 is shown as being available over here at a price of £1,799 including VAT from mid February this year from Robosavy.

This is the manufacturers explanatory video – rather neat we thought!

We’re sure that out there somewhere midst the zillions of snowflakes inhabiting the UK countrywide there must be two which are identical. In fact if you look very carefully at our graphic we think we may have just found them. The first is bottom left (about 23 pixels up and 47 in from the right) and the second is …… Well let’s see if you can find it! Please share if you do!

The other “happening” next week is Burns night  (Friday January 25) so we’ll leave you with some bagpipes on the Mull of Kintyre including quite an impressive photographic tribute to Scotland.
