LeWeb Paris’12 Day 2 – Selected Highlights

Theme – The Internet of Things – iThings

DAY 2 our highlights

Following on from yesterdays Socks and SmartThings today we have selected  Babies, Maitais and Nokia!

Babies as a subject , we understand, is rather topical so Withings with their Health and Wellness devices, which on the design side truly qualify as iThings deserved to be centre stage.

The (rather famous) maitai cocktail has now been superseded at LeWeb by Susi Mai and Bill Tai. No we are not  kidding It gets worse. They are both kite boarders. Keep going more to follow. They, mainly Bill but ably assisted by Susi run MaiTai Global which “…. is a gathering of extraordinary entrepreneurs, innovators and athletes. Participants contribute their energy to a shared experience centered around the kiting lifestyle. Lasting friendships form in an informal setting as we learn from each others successes and failures in all of our various endeavors, whilst mastering the complex sport of kiting”.

Marko Ahtisaari’s (Executive Vice President, Design, Nokia) presentation seemed to be rather popular!

Most if not all of the videos from today are on the LeWeb youTube Channel including all the Startup, Social Business Track and Hangout sessions.
